and Wildlife Service Habitat Conservation Planning and Inceidental Take Permits for Scotts Valley Area Residents, Santa Cruz County, California Private Landowner Concerns with Threatened and Endangered Species in the Scotts Valley Area Landowners in the Sand Hills region of Santa Cruz County who have a federally threatened or endangered species on their property are struggling to meet local, state, and Federal regulatory requirements. Therefore, many private landowners are in need of an Incidental Take Permit (ITP) to legally conduct ground disturbing activities that would result in loss or harm of the Mount Hermon June Beetle (as well as a couple other species).
